MSIPME has recently completed it's first pulp moulding system. The equipment was designed to produce a paper based pulp mixture utilizing recycled and virgin fibers, that is introduced into a moulding tank. Moulds designed to produce various products, such as corner protectors for packaging and wine bottle trays to mention a few, are dipped into the tank where the pulp mixture is drawn to the moulds via a vacuum system. A robotic transfer takes the products from the mould machine and places them onto a conveyor that leads into a natural gas drying oven. Finished products are unloaded and packaged by hand.
The entire system is controlled from a central operator interface, allowing for total control of all system functions, recipe changes and problem diagnostics.
