Integrating the demands of complex manufacturing processes requires a focused approach. It's not the individual processes, but the structure, co-operation and the communication abilities of the entire project team including the client that ensures a true return on investment.
Concept & Application Planning
Our sales and applications team will work with you to provide the best concept to suit your application. In a joint effort, we make sure to provide the most cost effective solution, always keeping operator ergonomics and serviceability at the forefront of the design concept. We believe in keeping and encouraging the customer to stay involved throughout the planning, design and build phases of the project. This approach will ultimately provide the customer with the confidence that the equipment will perform to their needs.
Engineering
Our engineering team works very closely with sales to ensure that the customer's needs are met. For every new job, a detailed process plan is developed to further refine the design intent. This is reviewed with the client before any work begins.
All machine concepts and final designs are developed using Solidworks™ state of the art 3D solid modeling CAD software. All designs are presented in easy to understand layouts, which allow the client to get a better idea of EXACTLY what they are getting!
All pneumatic / hydraulic schematics are created in-house, and a full set of documented assembly and detail drawings are provided at the completion of the job.
Controls
Our electrical and software engineers develop and design all control packages in-house using the latest available technology, from sensors to detect difficult parts to the latest in PLC technology. We offer programming expertise with many of the major brands, such as Allen Bradley, Omron, and Siemens, but are capable of using ANY hardware as per the customer's specifications. All controls are hard wired on our shop floor, and every system is tested and run on our premises to our customer's satisfaction and beyond!
Service & Support
Mecsmart Systems Inc. provides service for all the equipment it builds, Monday through Friday. Special exceptions can be made upon request for weekend support. Not quite sure why your equipment is not working? Our engineering, programming and assembly staff is ready to offer phone support for trouble shooting. Sometimes spending 10 minutes to solve a problem may save needless hours of trouble shooting at the customer's facility.
In addition,
each machine we build comes with two full user manuals, which cover the following
topics:
Complete sequence of operations.
Recommended spare parts list.
Preventative maintenance schedules.
Full set of printed electrical wiring diagrams.
Complete ladder logic diagrams.
Complete set of mechanical assembly drawings, including details with all parts
called out in individual bills of material.
All vendor related documentation.
Complete set of system pneumatics / hydraulics schematics.
Custom CD-ROM with all drawings in electronic format.
Customer Data Manipulation

CAD formats being used, being able to deal with customer provided models quickly
and efficiently is a key factor to getting the job started on time. As a result,
